Business Email Security

The Basics

What do you actually do?

We set up and monitor SPF, DKIM, and DMARC on your domain, so no one can send email pretending to be you, and your real emails are less likely to land in spam.

Who is this for?

Any business with a domain that sends email, especially if you don't have in-house IT or you use booking, CRM, or marketing tools that send on your behalf.

I've never had a spoofing problem. Do I still need this?

Most clients haven't. That's the point—this closes the gap before it's used against you, not after.

What's the difference between Essential and Pro?

Essential covers full SPF, DKIM, and DMARC setup. Pro adds spoofing/lookalike protection, a full audit, and ongoing monitoring. See Services & Features for details.

Business Email Security

How It Works

What does setup look like?

We find every platform sending email on your behalf, fix your SPF and DKIM records, publish a DMARC policy in monitoring mode, then move it to full enforcement step by step.

Do I need to give you access to my domain?

Either works—give us access to your DNS or registrar, or make the record changes yourself with our instructions.

How long does it take?

Records go live within the first few days. Full enforcement takes a few weeks, done gradually so nothing legitimate gets blocked.

Will this break my email or marketing tools?

It shouldn't—we inventory every sending platform first and roll out enforcement gradually to catch anything we missed before it's blocked.

What happens after setup?

Essential: you're set and on your own. Pro: we keep watching your reports for new or unusual senders and send you regular updates.

Business Email Security

Technical & Guarantees

I use booking, legal, or medical practice software (GlossGenius, Clio, SimplePractice, etc.). Does that complicate things?

We account for it. Booking platforms, legal practice tools, and medical/med spa software are common sources of misconfiguration, and we specifically check for them during setup and audits.

Can I keep my current email provider?

Yes. We configure around whatever you're already using—Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, or otherwise.

What if I add a new tool that sends email later?

Pro plan: we catch it through monitoring. Essential plan: let us know so we can update your SPF record.

Can you guarantee I'll never be spoofed?

No one honestly can. This closes the specific gap that lets someone spoof your exact domain and gives you visibility when it's attempted—it doesn't stop every kind of email fraud, like a lookalike domain someone else registers.

Will this improve deliverability?

Proper authentication helps, but deliverability also depends on things outside our control, like your sending history, so we can't promise a specific result.

Managed IT Services

The Basics

What's included?

Helpdesk and desktop support, network and firewall management, and copier/print support—bundled together or picked separately, depending on the plan.

Who is this for?

Businesses that don't have (or don't need) a full-time IT person, but still need someone to call when something breaks.

Do you work remotely or on-site?

Most day-to-day issues are handled remotely. We come on-site when something needs hands on it, like hardware or network equipment.

What's the difference between the plans?

Helpdesk covers support and desktop help. Business adds network and firewall management. Complete adds copier/print support and on-site visits. Full details are on our Services & Features page.

Network Services

Keeping You Connected

What does network support cover?

Firewall setup, network monitoring, and troubleshooting when your connection is slow or down.

Do I need new equipment?

Not necessarily. We work with what you have first and only recommend replacing equipment if it's actually holding you back.

Desktop, Helpdesk & Print

Day-to-Day Support

What counts as a helpdesk request?

Password resets, software issues, slow computers, printer problems—the everyday stuff that usually lands on whoever's most comfortable with computers.

Do you support copiers and printers too?

Yes. We handle setup once your device is delivered, plus ongoing support if it stops talking to the network or print queue.

How fast do you respond?

Response times depend on your plan; details are on the Managed IT Services page.

Can I combine this with Business Email Security?

Yes, they're separate services and work well together. See Business Email Security.

Search Engine Optimization

The Basics

What does SEO include?

Keyword and competitor research, on-page structure, Google Business Profile setup, and monthly reports tied to calls and form fills, not just rankings.

Who is this for?

Local and regional businesses that need to be found in the area they actually serve.

Do you optimize for AI assistants like ChatGPT?

Yes, we check AI visibility monthly alongside traditional search.

Search Engine Optimization

How It Works

What happens first?

Keyword and competitor research for your area, then restructuring your pages to compete for those terms, plus Google Business Profile optimization.

How long until I see results?

Usually around month three. Anyone promising results in thirty days isn't being straight with you—that's why there's a minimum term.

What if you didn't build my site?

Most existing sites need some groundwork first—missing titles, slow images, pages competing with each other. We handle that as part of getting started.

Search Engine Optimization

Common Questions

Do I need website monitoring too?

No, but it helps—a site that goes down or breaks a form undoes the SEO work. Not required, though.

How do you report progress?

Monthly, in plain language, focused on calls and form fills—not just rankings.

Website Monitoring

The Basics

What's included?

24/7 uptime monitoring, contact form testing, SSL and domain expiry tracking, content updates, and a monthly plain-English report.

Does this only work on sites you built?

No. It works on a site we built or one you already have.

Why test the contact form?

Forms fail quietly—an email or plugin change can break delivery for weeks before anyone notices. We test it instead of assuming it still works.

Website Monitoring

How It Works

What happens if my site goes down?

You hear from us, usually before a customer tells you.

How do I request a change?

Email us—no ticketing system or admin panel to learn. Changes happen within your plan's response window.

Website Monitoring

Common Questions

Is this month to month?

Yes, cancel any time.

Can I add SEO or email security later?

Yes, every service is independent, so add or drop as needed.

Website Design & Development

The Basics

What do I get?

A custom-built site, not a template, delivered to hosting in your name—fast, mobile-friendly, with forms wired to your inbox.

Do I own the site?

Yes, the site, domain, and hosting account are all in your name.

I'm on Wix or Squarespace. What happens?

Those platforms don't allow custom code, so we move you somewhere that does, usually GoDaddy, HostGator, or DigitalOcean. Migration is quoted separately.

Website Design & Development

How It Works

What does the build process look like?

We design around your business, wire up forms, and build for speed and mobile from the start.

Who pays for hosting?

You do, directly to your provider. We don't resell or mark it up.

Website Design & Development

Common Questions

Do I have to pay monthly after the build?

No. The site is yours. Add monitoring or SEO later, or never.

What affects the quote?

Mostly page count and scope—we'll walk through it before quoting anything.

Working Together

Getting Started

How do I get started?

Reach out through Contact or any "Get a Quote" button on the site. We'll ask a few questions and recommend what fits.

Do you work outside California?

Yes, most services are delivered remotely, so location isn't a limiting factor.

Can I combine services, or start with just one?

Either. Every service works on its own, and most clients start with one and add others later.

Is my information kept confidential?

Yes, see our Privacy Policy for details.

What if my question isn't answered here?

Email us at [email protected].

Inbox & Account Protection

The Basics

How is this different from Business Email Security?

Business Email Security stops someone from forging your domain. Inbox & Account Protection watches for a different problem—an employee's real account getting broken into, where nothing looks forged because it's genuinely coming from them.

What platforms does this work on?

Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace. If you're on a different platform, we'll talk through what's possible, or help you move to one that supports it.

What are you actually watching for?

Sign-ins that don't add up, hidden mailbox rules that forward or hide mail, and stolen session tokens—the signals that show up when an account's been taken over.

How is this priced?

Per protected employee account, with a minimum for smaller teams. All plans include 24/7 SOC, "Security Operations Center" monitoring to detect and triage or remediate issues before they cause any issues.

Inbox & Account Protection

How It Works

What happens when something's flagged?

A real person reviews it, not just software. If it's confirmed as a compromise, the account is locked down and active sessions are cut off right away.

Why does a mailbox rule matter so much?

It's usually the first thing an attacker sets up—a quiet rule hiding or forwarding certain replies so the real owner doesn't notice. It's often the clearest warning sign before something like a fraudulent wire request goes out.

Will I get a report after something happens?

Yes, a full timeline of what happened, when, and what we did about it—not a raw log you have to interpret yourself.

Inbox & Account Protection

Common Questions

What's the difference between the plans?

Essential covers core monitoring and lockdown. Pro adds full incident reporting and priority response. Complete bundles this with full Business Email Security as one service and one invoice.

I'm on an older or budget email host. Can I still get this?

Not directly—this service needs Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace underneath it. Our Email Setup & Migration service gets you onto a platform that supports it.

Can I combine this with domain-level email security?

Yes, that's what the Complete plan is—domain authentication and inbox protection together on one monthly invoice.

Email Setup & Migration

The Basics

What is this?

We move your business email onto Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace—the platform our Business Email Security and Inbox & Account Protection services are built on top of.

Why can't I just stay on my current host?

A lot of older or budget email hosts don't support the level of authentication and account protection modern security needs. If your domain can't be genuinely secured where it is, this is what changes that.

Will my team lose access or mail during the move?

No. We handle the whole move, and it's built so your team keeps working through it.

Email Setup & Migration

How It Works

What's actually included?

A full assessment of your current setup, migrating mail/contacts/calendars, reconfiguring DNS and authentication, provisioning every employee account, and re-authorizing any third-party tools that send email on your behalf.

What are the stages?

Assessment, migration, DNS cutover, then verification—each one done in order before we call it finished.

Why does DNS get reconfigured as part of this, not after?

Moving mailboxes without redoing DNS just leaves a modern platform running on the same weak authentication as before. We treat that as part of the migration itself, not a follow-up task.

What about tools like my CRM or invoicing software that send email for me?

We audit and re-authorize those as part of the move. Skip that step and they can silently stop sending the moment the cutover happens, sometimes for days before anyone notices.

Email Setup & Migration

Common Questions

What's the difference between Essential and Pro?

Essential covers up to 10 mailboxes with the standard cutover and onboarding. Pro is for 11+ mailboxes and adds a full third-party sender audit plus a dedicated migration planning session.

Does this include Business Email Security or Inbox Protection?

No, migration gets you onto a platform that supports those services—they're set up separately afterward, or bundled if you go with the Inbox Protection Complete plan.

When does the migration happen?

Typically scheduled after hours so it doesn't disrupt your team's workday.
